Weekend Reflections #16

Although the holiday season is over, I couldn't resist posting these Christmas reflections.

This first one is a photo of the 18 foot Christmas tree that is in the ballroom at the resort where we spend the winter months in Arizona. The decorations were gorgeous this year throughout the ballroom and the park.

This second photo was taken at my sister's house. She also decorates her house so beautifully. I just loved the reflection of the decorations in the mirror, with the lighting just coming from the Christmas lights and candles.

Oh Pat, the reflection of the tree on the ballroom floor is beautiful. And your sister's decor in the mirror is very festive. I see a snowman's head in the mirror, he's cute.

These are just what I needed today. That floor is amazing and all of the decorations in both places just bring joy to the soul. Thank you for posting them.

Lovely. We managed a few candles and some 20 year old lights on the tree, but nothing as spectacular as this. I like Christmas lights, though - you can turn all the other lights off and no one sees that you haven't dusted for weeks.

The ballroom floor has a great shine perfect for the reflecting the tree and other lights.

Hi Pat,

That photo at the top certainly is a view from the edge alright! Scary stuff if you ask me!

I'll bet your sisters house is beautiful! I hope you enjoyed your time with family. Surely it goes all to quickly.

Two beautiful reflection shots! I like the mood in the first shot with the deep shades of color. And your sister's decorations are great. Breathtaking header shot also.

Gorgeous decorations - in the south and in the north!! Are you surviving the cold?

Beautiful - - and I can't say it better than anyone else has. I love looking at other people's decorations but I so dislike putting them out myself. Thank you for sharing these.

Reflections in well polished wood are so rich and warm. Both images are excellent. And now the decorations are put away until next year. Sigh.

Lovely photos of your reflections! Very elegant, makes my attempts look a little cheesy! That's okay, I kind of like cheesy!

Absolutely beautiful. That room is so inviting with the tree lights and decorations. I could sit and look at it for a very long time.
