Crazy for Quilts - Part Four



In honor of the Northern Illinois Quilt Fest that is going on during the months of July, August and September, the local town here is auctioning off the 8' x 8' wooden barn quilts that are displayed in their shop windows. You can see photos of them here and here.

Also on display inside the pharmacy are hand made cloth quilts from as early as 1880 up until 1987. I will show you two photos of each quilt: one of the complete quilt and the next a closeup so that you can better see the pattern and possibly the stitching. Click to enlarge any photo.
