The last time we visited the flea market in Arizona, I was sure to wear my point and shoot camera around my neck because I was SURE I would see many things in a row! I was NOT disappointed.
I first saw these beautiful cactus in bloom.
To give you an idea of what the cactus looks like, here's a picture of the full plant.
Next I saw these cattle skulls hanging on the wall, all in a row. I am both disgusted, yet attracted to them. I know that Georgia O'Keeffe liked to paint them.
How about triple golden barrel cactus all in a row?
And keeping along with the plant theme, how about these guys? They should bring a grin to anyone's face, right?
I will continue my flea market finds next week. I have missed you guys the past couple of weeks. I hope you have been good little girls and boys and found lots of things in a row for me!

Thursday's Things in a Row
These photos come from our pontoon ride on Canyon Lake in Arizona. There were six boats, carrying about 50 passengers, that left early Tuesday morning for a 4 1/2 ride on the lake. It was a little on the chilly side in the morning (about 40 degrees!), but it soon warmed up to about 65 degrees. I will share the photos from the ride in an upcoming post. Here is what I saw in a row:
Three little ducks floating by,
boats in their slip, waiting to glide
Spindles on a railing lined up in a row
where we all stopped so we could go.....
potty.

Thursday's Things in a Row
I saw many things in a row last Sunday when my son and I went to the Phoenix International Raceway and watched the NASCAR race. You can read part one of the post here. Part two will be featured on Friday.
Looking up at the stands from the pit, I saw the flags and the lights, plus the row of bleachers AND the fence posts all in a row. This was two hours prior to the race starting, so the stands are quite empty.
These are the cars parked on the racetrack in the order that they qualified.
Rows and rows of tires at the ready for Dale Earnhardt's race car.
Race employees
And last, but certainly not LEAST, the racing cars!
Do you have anything that will "rev" up my engine this week?

Thursday's Things in a Row
Today's theme for things in a row is quilts. Yesterday there was a quilt show at our park, and so many beautiful quilts were on display. We have a LOT of talented people here!
I saw stitches, patterns, colors, etc. in a row. See for yourself!
These are just a mere sampling of the over 100 quilts that were in the show. Aren't they beautiful?
What did you find in a row this week?

Thursday's Things in a Row
No "theme" this week - just some miscellaneous photos of things in a row!
This one could have actually been in yesterday's post of "Signs"! These are dog signs in a row. "No (pooping)!"
One of the streets in the park here.....palm trees in a row.
Ladybug rocks
Bocce balls
Flowerpots
Show me what 'cha got!

Thursday's Things in a Row
Still keeping the theme of Scottsdale, AZ, here are some galloping horses.
I loved these balconies filled with potted plants.
This next one isn't the greatest picture, but it was a quick shot taken through a plate glass window! Sometimes stores can be fussy! I blew this photo up to see the price - $480! Yikes! Scottsdale is VERY artsy-fartsy!
And finally, I think this can count. My friend WORE this in Scottsdale!
Did you find any interesting rows this week?

Thursday's Things in a Row
Since Scottsdale seems to be the theme this week, here are Things in a Row as seen in that town.
I saw this woman walking her three dogs.
I just love the flowers on this balcony.
These "siesta figures" are very popular here in the Southwest. I don't know if this is a good price for them or not. Scottsdale is touristy and rather pricey. I'll have to compare prices to that at the flea market!
I don't know what kind of palm trees these are, but they sure fit the meme, no?
This is a Mexican Restaurant, attached to the Saguaro Hotel. The vibrant colors really stand out against that bright blue sky, don't they? I was mesmerized by all the things in a row!
This is the colorful Saguaro Hotel. Each outside wall on the balcony is painted a different color.
I'll have some more from Scottsdale next week. What do you have to show me?

Thursday's Things in a Row
I went to Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Institute in Scottsdale for lunch the other day. The young students cook and serve the food. I will tell you all about my visit in an upcoming post. While I was there, I saw many things in a row!
Just look at all the things in a row in this photo! Pots! Pans! Ovens! Containers! Carts! Oh my!
So many bowls, so little time!
We saw a beautiful display of cakes. I am thinking that these are sticky buns in a row, on top of a cake made out of sugar.
How about a chocolate purse with white dots? In a row, of course! Remember, this is a CAKE!
Now, these beautiful items are made from sugar. I am posting two photographs from different angles; the second shows the sun shining down on these spectacular pieces.
Aren't these exquisite?
And finally, some freshly made pastries. Yum!
So, is your mouth watering yet?
What do you have for me this week, my little chickadees?

Thursday's Things in a Row
This week is the second half of "Things in a Row" at a Toy Store!
Did YOU ever hear of "Capsule Man"? Me neither. Doesn't sound like someone you'd want hanging around the school yard, either! The directions state to drop these capsules in warm water and watch critters appear! Ta-da! There is a warning about a choking hazard. No freaking kidding! If you swallowed this and all of a sudden you had a, let's say, GIRAFFE in your throat, uh YEAH, I'd say that was choking. Even worse, let's say you swallow this and it gets to your STOMACH. Then what? Pouf? Now you have a sponge animal floating around on your gastric acids? Nice. Try passing an elephant out your back end. Maybe sometimes it's felt like it, but now you have the REAL DEAL!
Speaking of animals, these are some kind of carriers that hold "zooables" whatever the heck THOSE are. Look like little animal characters. Each year they come out with a new product so the parents and grandparents have to fork over more moola!
Now! This is more like it! A sensible card game! Who DOESN'T like a fast game of Uno?
I had to blow up this photo because for a minute there I thought ole Barbie was pregnant and showing her bare belly. Doesn't it look like that? That Ken! He's sure been busy! But, I was wrong! Just an optical illusion! This is Barbie in a Mermaid's Tale. Is her name "Merliah" or is that how you say "Mermaid" in Spanish?
So, kiddies, anything good this week for me?

Thursday's Things in a Row
I don't know about you, but it's getting harder and harder to come up with interesting photos of things in a row. Lucky for me that I always carry my "point and shoot" camera! Today I went exploring in the Toy Department! Look what I found!
Pink bikes with pink tires, too!
Justin Bieber Bears! Seriously?
Baby Cinderallas! Aren't we starting a little young?
I LIKE this good old-fashioned toy - requires no batteries, either!
Vroom! Vroom!
Who doesn't love a yo-yo? Can you "walk the dog"?
I'll share the rest of my toy photos next week. Did you find anything in a row this week?
