Saw this sign on a convenience store door on Halloween.
I asked the cashier, "You SERIOUSLY have to post a sign like that?"
"Yes", she said.
I wonder if someone tried to rob them previously on Halloween with a funny mask on. Hmmm.....

Who would have thought so many people would be out shopping in full costume?! Though perhaps they were mostly students?

ReplyDeleteHonestly, I wouldn't want to work in a convenience store but especially not on Halloween. You couldn't tell the good guys from the bad guys.

ReplyDeleteGood sign for a bank. In Dartmouth, Nova Scotia I saw a sign at a Tim Hortons that said no one permitted in store with hoodie up.

I see the security aspect here; you would think most people would see it without being reminded. Great find!
ReplyDeleteThere was a sign similar to that posted on the door of one of our local "dollar" stores at Halloween. They also have a height measuring stick painted on the trim next to the door. I would imagine a camera is pointed in that direction, as well, although I've yet to notice it.
ReplyDeletei wonder if they were held up one time by someone in a mask? but, if you think about it - a lot of thieves do wear masks when they're holding up places.

ReplyDeleteI saw that sign somewhere too! Our Credit Union has one (all the time) that says pls remove sunglasses. Can you believe that?
