The Women's Expo was held in the ballroom, and consisted of vendors selling their wares of T-shirts, blouses, skirts, scarves, purses, jewelry, candles, and many, many other things.
The expo was free, and upon entering, everyone received a raffle ticket for a door prize. The first 250 people received a goodie bag with some crackers, cookies, and brochures.
This is Jill, one of the workers at the event, dressed in her pink outfit.
This woman was a vendor, with her little companion Lucy (wearing a pink bow for the occasion!)
A fashion show was held every hour with women from the park modeling clothes from some of the vendors that were present at the expo.
Then the "bra of the hour" was brought out on display to entice people to come see the Art Bra Exhibit. There was a $5 donation fee to enter, and of course, all proceeds went to breast cancer.
The "Mardi Gras" bra. On the table in the back - door prizes. |
I requested that my neck be massaged. If this picture could talk, it would sound like, "ooh, baby, yeah, right there, yeah" and there would NOT be sex involved.
Yes, that's moi with my face planted in the pillow - luckily there's a hole to breathe! |
I must say that the decorations committee did a spectacular job. Here are a couple of their masterpieces.
This one is in the lobby of the main building, before going into the Art Bra exhibit.
This Humongous Hooter Holder was hanging above the entrance to the bra exhibit. I couldn't even imagine the size of these babies!
The Art Bra Exhibit was held in the pool hall (as in pool tables). It was amazing how they had changed the room into a beautiful exhibit.
There were at least 80 bras in the exhibit - all were fabulous. I am going to show you the extremely funny ones or ones that really struck me. Hold on to your ta-ta's and be prepared to be impressed.

ReplyDeleteThat looks like a really fun time. That park is really a great place!
ReplyDeleteAs I have said before, you have a phenomenal activities committee/coordinator at that park. There is always something fun and interesting going on there. So who did the bra art - - - residents there or is it a traveling exhibit that goes with this fundraiser? Very inventive ideas.
ReplyDeleteThe massage sounds wonderful. I'd have chosen that, too.
ReplyDeleteStill holding my ta tas while I wait .....
ReplyDeleteWhat a HOOT.... very creative...that one huge hooter holder above the door? I have a girlfriend who resembles that bra! Her husband says she needs "Industrial strength bras".... What a fun group!
