My blog is pretty laid back. I like to share jokes, recipes, books I've read, photos I've taken, day-to-day vignettes, and odd or fascinating items. All with a splash of humor. CURRENT HEADER PHOTO: My sister's famous cherry cookies.

Signs - Operating Instructions
We frequent a laundromat weekly. I got a chuckle out of this sign on the large dryer.
I don't know about YOU, but it's been like, uh, NEVER, since I've found a PET or a CHILD in a dryer!
Yes, this warning became federally mandated after my mom failed to remove my brother from the dryer before starting it...... from 1964-88. The dryer sheets did give him a lovely head of hair.
Pat--I can't think of even once when someone walked out and forgot that they left their child in a dryer. I keep hoping to find green paper with pictures of my uncle Ben on them!!!! Never found those either! ;-)
That must be quite the laundromat! Great catch!

I have never found any living creatures inside a machine at a laundromat but, like Eva, my cat loved to sleep inside the dryer if the door was open.
