My blog is pretty laid back. I like to share jokes, recipes, books I've read, photos I've taken, day-to-day vignettes, and odd or fascinating items. All with a splash of humor. CURRENT HEADER PHOTO: My sister's famous cherry cookies.

Reflections of a Carnival
My contributions for today's Weekend Reflections were all taken at the carnival section at the Ostrich Festival in Chandler, AZ. To see more reflections, visit James at Newtown Area Photo.
I just clicked on your link to the ostrich festival. Hahaha! I LOVE it. Sounds like you live in a busy, busy area...and a great place for taking photos of people. I like the reflections you captured for this post.
What a clever idea to take pictures of the reflections of the thing you wanted us to see. I like that approach. Plus it exercises a person's brain to do things differently.
Cool reflections, especially the ferris wheel.
ReplyDeleteSunny :)
That water landed just in the right place to capture the colorful festival colors! Perfect entry for this meme!

I am not gonna comment, not at all.
ReplyDeleteYou have this amazing life where you travel and show us all these wonderful adventures you have.
Did not want to see it, did not love it, do not envy you one bit!
And the really awful thing is Jim loves it as much as you do.
Picking on you! Great pics and great adventure. It wasn't like Peewee in the Big Top, was it?
What great subject matter! Wonderful reflections, I especially love the striped tent reflection. The last shot reminds me of "Zoltar" from Big! Kathy
ReplyDeleteas usual... great pictures!
ReplyDeleteI'm so jealous. It's cold here - and going to snow!
LOL - just kidding - about the jealousy, that is. Too true about the snow. bummers...

ReplyDeleteThose are pretty cool! Hubby and I lived in Tempe, AZ for about two years. We used to go to chandler to watch movies at their drive-in.
