My blog is pretty laid back. I like to share jokes, recipes, books I've read, photos I've taken, day-to-day vignettes, and odd or fascinating items. All with a splash of humor. CURRENT HEADER PHOTO: My sister's famous cherry cookies.

Signs - Tell Me My Fortune!
Are you game?
I actually went to this psychic about 10 years ago. Back then she charged $5 to answer 3 questions. Looking back, she was pretty damn accurate!
I'm way too skeptical to do this. I know some of them are trained to look for microexpressions on people's faces. Cold reads....generalities... 'someone close to you died of cancer'. Most people have had a close friend or relative die from cancer!
Went to a palm reader once, at the time I found it ridiculous, but if I look back she wasn't so far off either. :) Danica
ReplyDeleteI've never had the palm read... now thinking maybe I should have.
ReplyDeleteha. had mine done once...i am still waiting to be a rockstar....smiles...
ReplyDeleteI'm afraid they'd just laugh at my future.
ReplyDeleteI would see what she had to say!
ReplyDeleteSo, inflation. $10 is cheap for a reading, BTW.

ReplyDeleteI am not sure I would want to know...
ReplyDeleteNot my cup of tea, but seems inexpensive. I wonder if s(he) knows whether it will be a slow or busy day?!

Not sure I would hold much faith in the telling. It could be fun for a lark.
ReplyDeleteSo did she open the door and say, "I knew you were coming."?
ReplyDeleteIf she was really psychic she would know you were coming, or not.
ReplyDeleteI am always wondering what would happen if I walked into one of these places. I have never had the nerve to do it. genie
ReplyDeleteI think I'd be scared to do it.
