Welcome Back

to my blog, that is! I was only gone a week and can you believe that when I got home, I forgot which toothbrush was mine? There were two in the holder on the sink: a green one and a pink one. Now I ask you, which one do YOU think was mine?

Exactly. The pink one.

So I used it three times, even though there was a niggling thought in the back of my head that, hey maybe this wasn't my toothbrush.

Finally the other night I walked into the man cave with the pink toothbrush in my hand.

"Who's toothbrush is this?" I demanded to Jim.

"It's mine."

"You're kidding me. Pink?" I said, a little sarcastically.

"It's red." Jim said.

"Uh, no, it's PINK."

"I'm telling you that that is RED."

I see where the problem is here.

Actually the toothbrush is HOT PINK.

Bottom line?

I've been using it.

So I still think I won this argument. Don't you?

One of the grands favorite color is red. I got what I thought was a red toothbrush and he informed me that it was pink......so it must be the same one that you have in your house!! Guess it just depends on the light!! HAHA!!

  6. You lost!

I agree with Monkey Man. Real men can (and do) like pink. Think breast cancer prevention and cure for our women folk: mothers, wives, sisters, children. . . . Yup; you got the picture.

    Oh, yeah; tooth brushes, too.

  8. I like what Sallie said about most people taking their toothbrush on vacation with them!!! Speaking of taking things on vacation, I don't know if this is an age-thing but I prefer to think of it as making efficient use of my time - - - - by using a checklist of things to pack - - - so I don't have to think and remember them!!!
    Welcome back. We missed you.

  9. this same discussion has taken place in my house numerous times over the last few years. Never a toothbrush but many other objects.

Can't wait for hubby to get his cataract surgery so he can see colors again.
