My blog is pretty laid back. I like to share jokes, recipes, books I've read, photos I've taken, day-to-day vignettes, and odd or fascinating items. All with a splash of humor. CURRENT HEADER PHOTO: My sister's famous cherry cookies.

Thursday's Things in a Row
My theme for this week's Things in a Row is "At a park".
Steps up a slide
chains to climb
Swing so high you touch the sky!
Remember the feeling of accomplishment when you made it all the way across?
Great line-up, Pat. Only today I was examining the scar on my eyebrow from where the swing hit me when I was aged about three. Still like to think I'd do well on one, though.
The blue swings are great! I'm glad the giant strikes (probly that's not what they're called now) are made of plastic. Because I remember when they were made of metal; not fun when the kid in front of you in that row let go of his and it swung back. Ow.
Children's playgrounds are the best. I recently rode bikes 25 miles with my 69-year-old brother to his childhood school, then 3 rooms, now a huge gorgeous state-of-the-art school with a nice playground like this. I got a photo of him playing on a twirly thingie! :D
What fun things! I remember swinging so high and wondering if I would ever get high enough to go over the top of the swing set. We think crazy thing when we are young, don't we?!!
You found lots of fun things in a row at the park playground Pat. I love the blue swing seats in a row.
