And I'm sure they will! And if I were you, I probably wouldn't argue with the Establishment, seeings how this was hanging in the Mammoth Steak House and Saloon in Goldfield, ARIZONA, which is an "open-carry" gun law state....meaning if you have a license to carry a gun, you can wear it! The owner/bartender was wearing his "piece" this particular day. I wonder how many complaints he received about the service? How about NONE?

I can appreciate the sign, but the whole idea of carrying a gun would intimidate me right out of there!
ReplyDeleteKinda scary that anyone can carry a gun!
ReplyDeletei'd probably eat a burnt steak without a word.:p
ReplyDeleteyup, a gun makes me nervous.
ha, luv that one, I want one to hang in my place...lol ;)
ReplyDeleteI am not politically correct so I guess I would fit right in.
ReplyDeleteNot a sight to give one a good appetite! I'd be right out of that place.
ReplyDeleteHoly cow! I think I'd turn around and leave...don't like the idea of guns one bit!
ReplyDeleteha. see i would like that...we need more people to shoot straight and tell it like it is...smiles.
ReplyDeleteno saloon would suffer idiots, politically correct or not!

ReplyDeletelove that sign! looks like it would be a cool place to eat.
ReplyDeletei probably wouldn't complain either about the food or service. lol
Ha...this is a wonderful post, Pat! I love the photo and commentary. All that political correctness is getting tiresome, anyway...LOL.
ReplyDeleteNo, I would imagine they don't get a lot of complaints. Cool sign but I'm not all that thrilled about a place where guns are openly permitted.
ReplyDeleteHiya Pat,
ReplyDeletethis looks like a fun stop. i'll have to google it to see where the heck Goldfield is! Hope you're doing well. :)
I love that place! Nice little "Ghost" town there at the Goldfield. I had a friend who got married there (at the Mammoth) and had a blast!
ReplyDeleteWe've eaten in that establishment several times yet never noticed the sign. Maybe it's a new addition since our last visit. In any case, love the image in b/w.
ReplyDeleteGreat barn in your header photo, too.
You know, it's been hotter here than out there...ready to go back? I AM!
At least you know where the man stands as soon as you walk in - - - but guns and a saloon - - - hmmm - - - impaired judgment after a bit of booze and an available firearm - - - - maybe not a good combo.
ReplyDeleteI hate politically correctness. Love your post. Have a great weekend!!1
ReplyDeleteHonesty is always appreciated! Being politically correct often means being dishonest... or rephrasing something but still being rude...lol
ReplyDeleteLOL Great!
