Weekend Reflections #16

Although the holiday season is over, I couldn't resist posting these Christmas reflections.

This first one is a photo of the 18 foot Christmas tree that is in the ballroom at the resort where we spend the winter months in Arizona. The decorations were gorgeous this year throughout the ballroom and the park.

This second photo was taken at my sister's house. She also decorates her house so beautifully. I just loved the reflection of the decorations in the mirror, with the lighting just coming from the Christmas lights and candles.

  1. Oh Pat, the reflection of the tree on the ballroom floor is beautiful. And your sister's decor in the mirror is very festive. I see a snowman's head in the mirror, he's cute.

  4. Lovely. We managed a few candles and some 20 year old lights on the tree, but nothing as spectacular as this. I like Christmas lights, though - you can turn all the other lights off and no one sees that you haven't dusted for weeks.

  7. Hi Pat,

That photo at the top certainly is a view from the edge alright! Scary stuff if you ask me!

I'll bet your sisters house is beautiful! I hope you enjoyed your time with family. Surely it goes all to quickly.

  11. Beautiful - - and I can't say it better than anyone else has. I love looking at other people's decorations but I so dislike putting them out myself. Thank you for sharing these.

  12. Reflections in well polished wood are so rich and warm. Both images are excellent. And now the decorations are put away until next year. Sigh.
