Watery Wednesday

My contribution to Watery Wednesday was taken at Twin Falls, Idaho. We stumbled across this beauty of a gem as we were driving west on our trip from Arizona to Washington. We had no idea the falls were there, but saw a sign and followed it. This is what we found.

Here's one from a different angle to show the height of the falls. See that tiny white building down there? That is a damn.

This is looking left past the falls down the river. It was a gorgeous day, as you can see!

If you want to see more, here's a video that I took:

  17. Wow, I had no idea the falls were that big. I think we are going shopping for a fifth-wheel for next year. We're thinking of exploring the country, state by state ove the next few years. We'll keep our home base, but it is self-maintained so we can leave for long periods. Then maybe we'll run into each other somewhere. (Not literally, I hope.) Maybe meet up at Kathy's campground. :-)
