Sunday Bridges - Magnolia Gardens
It was an overcast day when we visited Magnolia Plantation and Gardens in Charleston, South Carolina, but it didn't deter from the beauty of the place. This red bridge really stands out among all the greenery of the area. The heavy Spanish moss hanging from the trees; the lily pads in the water.

oh wow...i love spanish moss...we had it in florida...like the red on the bridge as well...

What a beautiful picture! The moss on the trees remind me of snow on the branches after a snowstorm in my CT neighborhood.

The moss in the trees and that pretty red bridge are a gorgeous sight Pat. Charleston is one of my favorite Southern cities.
Spanish moss is similar to our Russian vine... I'm English by the way ...lol. Loved the bridge and the gorgeous scenery.
I love Charleston. It's a picturesque little city with a ton of great clubs, restaurants, scenic vistas, and shops. Although, whenever I open my mouth, one of the locals always asks me, "Yew hain't one of them Yankee faggots, are yew?"
Golly, they can be so touchy. After all, they captured Fort Sumter. What more do they want?
This shot makes me think of Japanese garden with that red bridge. The moss is beautiful. I have not seen much of it seance I moved away from south Florida in 1959. It is wonderful. The lily pads sadly are missing their beautiful blooms, but they will come again when their time is due. A beautiful capture. Happy Week to You. Genie

That is really pretty and it looks so serene there.
The bridge almost looks Asian in that setting. It is very unique and quite pretty.
