My blog is pretty laid back. I like to share jokes, recipes, books I've read, photos I've taken, day-to-day vignettes, and odd or fascinating items. All with a splash of humor. CURRENT HEADER PHOTO: My sister's famous cherry cookies.
Yep! Sandia Park is lovely--I never noticed that sign though! :) Will Rogers knows that of which he speaks! As did Chuck Berry (whose Berry Park is right here in Wentzville, MO--dad used to own land that backed up to Berry Park and boy did it rock and roll all summer! Sheesh!)

Giggles! True! We have a humungous back yard to see first. ;)
I feel that's true! Even after we spent 32 days on the road touring this country, there are still a lot more sights I'd like to see!
so true, so true! i'd love to be in the position to tour the country. maybe some day...
Love all the signs you post
P.S. You are my hero. When we were newlyweds we did what you are doing, and this is my goal for the near future. There is just no reason not to.
Great sign! Enjoyed this post. Will Rogers has always been a favorite of mine.

Great comment! It's true - - there's no place like home and if you haven't seen it all, why leave?
